Each year the D&AD invite 250 of the best designers, advertising minds and creatives to cast their eye over 25,000 pieces of work, submitted from around the world. What they have learnt from the judges and the projects that are submitted, is that creative work is profoundly shaped by our politics, society, and cultural experiences.
D&AD’s 2020 insight report breaks this research down into four major themes that represent some of the most influential forces, and biggest challenges shaping creative work today. Projects mainly correlated around emerging technologies which we wanted to reflect within the report. Spreads, layouts and graphics were created through a variety of automated digital processes including: batch processing, data bending and segmentation.
